Windows
XP already has drivers for a very large selection of printers, you may be
able to select your printer from the list.
In
my case the HP PSC 1210 is not in the list, so the PSC 950 was selected (this
is for illustration only - you need the correct driver or your printer will
not work).
(If your printer is not in the list then you will need to find the disc that can with the printer and click the Have Disk button then browse to the drive and let Windows search for the driver.)
Click
Yes or No depending on whether you want this to be the default printer or
not, then click Next.
This
window confirms that the network printer has been added.
Return
to Printers and Faxes and you should see the new printer complete with the
network icon. It should behave just like any other printer on your computer.
